Touchstone Rehabilitation is proud to lend its support to the 2nd Annual Disability-Friendly Hiking Day, an inspiring event hosted by Joni and Friends Arizona in partnership with Luke5Adventures Tucson. Taking place on March 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, this free event at Lost Dutchman State Park in the breathtaking Superstition Mountains provides an inclusive outdoor experience for individuals of all abilities.

Designed to break barriers and promote adventure for those with mobility challenges, this hike features the Rosie—a specially designed, one-wheeled rickshaw-like device maneuvered by dedicated volunteers known as Sherpas. With their support, participants (known as HIKERS) can experience the joy of nature without limitations.

Touchstone Rehabilitation recognizes the power of outdoor activity in physical and emotional well-being, which is why we are honored to be part of this event. Inclusivity and accessibility matter, and this event embodies the spirit of overcoming challenges through community and teamwork.

With the stunning backdrop of Lost Dutchman State Park, hikers and volunteers alike will enjoy an unforgettable day filled with fresh air, beautiful trails, and a shared mission of empowerment. Whether assisting as a Sherpa, participating as a HIKER, or simply joining to cheer on the adventurers, everyone plays a role in making this event a success.

For those interested in participating or volunteering, more details are available by contacting Pam Baldwin at (602) 275-2568 or via email at arizona@joniandfriends.org.

Come be part of something meaningful. Let’s hit the trails together, celebrate mobility for all, and make this an adventure to remember! 🌿🚶‍♂️♿
